Welcome to the Wildfire Lecture Series Website

Welcome to the Wildfire Prevention and Policy Lecture Series. This series was made possible by generous donor support. We aim to host two-to-three events annually for the campus and greater Santa Barbara communities. Events feature experts from researchers to community leaders to policymakers discussing topics related to wildfire prevention and policy, including natural disasters in the face of climate change, enhancing community resilience, natural resources management, and others.

It is our intention for series events to be recorded and open to the public. Upcoming event information is available here and you can access recordings of previous events here. This website also provides a compilation of resources related to wildfire research at UC Santa Barbara, community partners, and other links.
